About the Curriculum

Molodets consists of twelve Modules, each with a specific American Culture theme, corresponding vocabulary lists, and a grammar focus. There are three to five units in each Module. Each Module is available as a digital textbook, or you can access each individual component from our Materials Library. All materials can be downloaded as fillable PDFs, printed, or used for computer-based learning.

Each unit includes:

Introduction to the grammar focus with practice exercises
Themed vocabulary list with exercises,
Two American culture readings with reading comprehension exercises
Bilingual podcast to accompany the reading,
Short, fun videos that explore the unit topic further,
Lesson plan for teachers
Custom-designed conversation-based game

How To Get Started With Molodets

The best place to start is with our Diagnostic Test. The test includes questions that align with the unit materials on the site and are designed to test knowledge and understanding of the language. The results of the diagnostic quiz can be used to create a personalized learning plan for your students. You could also use this quiz as a pre- and post-test for your students to gauge their learning.

Games

To accompany each module, there are game cards related to the grammar and American culture content of the units in this module. The cards can be printed for classroom use, but they are also available for digital use. Additionally, each game features a supplemental document providing details and teacher instructions for the five interactive games, which include both in-person and online adaptations, utilizing these game cards.
